Welcome to TonyQ.net. This web site is an experiment, using a new business model that has been emerging for me since I was laid off from my day job at Stanley Tools in 2002. After several months of job hunting with no luck, I decided to start my own business (1GoodHost.com), designing and hosting web sites. I wanted to create a business that would afford me an acceptable standard of living and that would grow, but not so big as to require many employees, office space, and the other amenities of a large operation.

I have been truly blessed in my business, and I'm now starting a fourth company. I have been able to do so by using online training classes and setting up an outsourcing network that focuses on customer service. I think my business's greatest asset is not growing so big that I can't give my client a personal attention.

It dawned on me that others may find themselves in the same situation as I was and that my experiences and skills might help those that want to be financially independent. I believe that as long as you work for someone else, you will always be at their mercy.

In today's economy, nothing is guaranteed. Regardless of your educational background, financial situation, or personal status... there will always be something you can do to support yourself and your family. We all have God-given talents, skills, and interests. For example, I have always loved composing and playing music but have always had to work to make a living, so music took a back seat in my life. Earlier in my life, my career had reached a fork in the road, and at that time, deciding to be a musician was too high-risk of a career move, so I went along with the 9-to-5 rat race.

After being laid off and starting my own business, I finally had some time to devote to music. :) I started jamming around and getting into the local music scene.  And that's what the web site, TonyQ.net, is about — sharing.
All of the music lessons and classes on the site are free of charge to all. This is a way for me to have a business and still be involved in the Arts. If you find the web site concept interesting and want to support the cause, please take a moment to review the different services we offer.

We offer custom web site design, hosting, and web site management services. What makes us different? We apply "kaizen" manufacturing techniques to the web site development process, enabling us to more efficiently create effective web sites that save our clients time and money.
We offer the 1 Click Installer web application that integrates with our clients' web sites. It gives them the ability to instantly install 40 business applications, such as shopping carts, eBay style auctions, photo galleries, and more.

For a complete list of these applications and more information on kaizen techniques, visit us at http://1GoodHost.com.
