. . Perf’s studio savvy is evident in the numerous recordings and productions churned from his personal studio, Perfect Music Studio, from band demos to independent albums to major label releases. His impeccable sound engineering and production skills are most represented by the multi-platinum selling albums “Semenelin (Wolfgang) and “Marc Velasco” (Marc Velasco), as well as Triaxis’ “Further Down the Bend and “Who We Are”, all released by Epic Records/ Sony Music Philippines. He has received nominations in the local award-giving bodies for his production work, most notably the Producer of the Year Award in the 1998 NU 107 Rock Awards. 

The most recent feather in his producer's cap is the 2001 Awit Awards for Best Rap Recording, for the song "Luv 4 Lyf", co-written, co-performed, and co-produced with Francis M and released under the Musiko Label of BMG Records, Pilipinas.

. . . After shifting his focus to Classical Guitar and Music, Perf placed 3^rd in the 1999 National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. Since then he has performed solo and with the PWU Philippine Music Ensemble and PWU Guitar Quartet in numerous prestigious concert halls such as Main and Little Theaters of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the Philamlife Auditorium, Concert at the Park, Paco Park Presents, St. Cecilia’s Hall of the St. Scholastica's College, PCIB Francisco Santiago Theater and the Luce Auditorium of Siliman University. He was also a featured artist and lecturer at the Sandugo International Guitar Festival held July 15-21, 2002 and hosted by the island of Bohol.

. . . Aside from being a monster in the local contemporary guitar world, Perf is also blazing new ground in the Classical and Flamenco styles. He has played the premiere Philippine performances of National Artist Dr. Lucrecia R. Kasilag’s only two works written for solo Classical guitar. His repertoire ranges from the Renaissance to the Contemporary, with a special focus on original guitar music and Classic, Contemporary and Ethnic Filipino music. Welcome additions to his guitar playing are the deep profundity and fiery passion only found in Flamenco Puro. He studies under the tutelage of the country’s resident guitar virtuoso Maestro Jose Valdez and has participated in masterclasses by flamenco guitarist Adolfo Timuat, classical guitarists Dr. Angelito Agcaoili and Maestro Jorge Orozco.
